- remixes of Swedish electro-acoustic trio Tape's first album "Opera"(Haäpna).
Tape is a collective of three artists that had been important factors in swedish jazz/improv/electronica scene - Andreas Berthling, Johan Berthling, and Tomas Hallonsten. based on minimal noise by A.Berthling, J.Berthling and Hallonsten make calm but rich tapestry of melodies. Since their half composed and half improvised texture recalls us a certain sound & landscape from a deep inside of our mind, their original albums "Opera" and "Milieu"are remarked and highly acclaimed.

"Operette" is a collection of remixes by highly acclaimed artists from a field of fine electronic music and sound art. All of the artists reconstructed several sound fragments of "Opera" on their own manners and contexts. "Operette" succeeded to express not only each remixers' unique characters and various points of view but also Tape's musical richness and lyricism. We hope you enjoy the other side of Opera in a theater of parallel world.
